A Novato woman arrested for allegedly taking more than $100,000 from her 95-year-old father-in-law will be arraigned in Marin County Superior Court on April 12.Kimberly Page Bourdet, 46, was arrested for elder abuse after she surrendered to sheriff’s deputies at the Marin County jail March 24. She posted bail and was released from custody, Novato police Sgt. Keith Heiden said. The Marin County Adult Protective Services contacted Novato police after it received a report about financial elder abuse on March 1, Heiden said.Police determined Bourdet misappropriated more than $100,000 from her father-in-law, who lives at an assisted living facility, while handling his finances in 2006 and 2007.
