* Santana Row bomb scare in San Jose parking garage

A San Jose Police Department bomb squad investigating a suspicious vehicle on Santana Row Tuesday night has determined the car to be harmless, a police spokesman said. Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said officers went to a parking lot at about 9:53 p.m. Tuesday after a security guard reported a suspicious vehicle that had been parked there for three days. Lopez said the vehicle was reportedly making a ticking sound.Arriving officers closed down the parking structure for the investigation. By 2:30 a.m., the bomb squad reported the vehicle to be empty and police called off the investigation.
