* Six People Shot at Party Near Rodeo

The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place at a party near Rodeo, leaving several people hospitalized early this morning, a lieutenant said. Units responded to several 911 calls reporting a shooting in the 1200 block of Trigger Court at around 1:20 a.m., Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Simpkins said. Two gunmen had been seen firing rounds from different locations into a crowded party, Simpkins said. As many as six people were wounded in the shooting. The victims were all hospitalized. None of the injuries were expected to be life threatening. There were no immediate details on suspects.
