Oakland police are seeking people who may have witnessed a shooting that hospitalized two men Wednesday evening, a police spokeswoman said today.The shooting was reported shortly before 6 p.m. in the 1200 block of 66th Avenue, police Officer Holly Joshi said.Police originally said three people were injured in the shooting, but Joshi said today that only two people, a 45-year-old man and 46-year-old man, were shot. The victims’ injuries are not believed to be life threatening, she said.The victims “were just bystanders caught in the wrong place at the wrong time,” Joshi said.No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
