Santa Rosa police arrested a suspect in a 2003 Reno, Nev., homicide this afternoon. Max Reed II, 31, was arrested without incident around 1:30 p.m. at his residence on Primavera Court in east Santa Rosa, Sgt. Steve Fraga said. He was on parole and had been living there about two years, Fraga said.Reed was wanted by Reno police for a narcotic-related shooting murder, Fraga said.Reno police detectives contacted Santa Rosa police this week and both police agencies met Tuesday to try to locate Reed, Fraga said.Reno police had a no bail warrant for Reed’s arrest for murder and robbery both with use of a deadly weapon, Fraga said.Reed’s parole was being supervised out of the California State Parole’s office in Santa Rosa, Fraga said. Reed was booked into the Sonoma County jail.
