San Rafael police arrested three men Thursday on suspicion of burglarizing a Terra Linda home.A neighbor called police around 10:40 a.m. to report two men were prowling on her neighbor’s property in the 500 block of Whitewood Drive and a gold Mercedes had just pulled in front of the house, police said. Two suspects ran out the back of the house and began jumping fences as officers arrived, police spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher said. Officer Travis Ruggles caught one of the suspects a few houses away and Officer Geoff Bowker detained the driver of the Mercedes, Rohrbacher said. A third suspect was found hiding in a carport. Police learned the same suspects and the vehicle were involved in an attempted burglary on Via La Cumbre in Greenbrae about 30 minutes earlier. Twin Cities police brought witnesses to that incident to San Rafael, one of whom identified the vehicle and two of the suspects, Rohrbacher said. When the witnesses said there were four suspects in the Greenbrae incident, a San Rafael police SWAT unit searched yards and carports in the area but did not locate a fourth suspect, Rohrbacher said.Police arrested Enrique Solis-Alvarez, 27, of Vallejo; and Brian Arbaiza 20, and Carlos Hernandez-Cruz, 21, both of Concord, for burglary and conspiracy. They were booked into the Marin County jail.
