Police arrested a Rohnert Park man on suspicion of vehicle theft after a pursuit along U.S. Highway 101 this afternoon and a manhunt at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa.Police identified the suspect as 18-year-old Joshua Wandrey III. He was arrested on Lee Street near the fairgrounds, Sgt. Steve Fraga said. The chase began in Rohnert Park around 1 p.m., CHP Officer Jon Sloat said. The fleeing driver hit several cars along northbound U.S. Highway 101 before exiting the highway at state Highway 12 near the fairgrounds, Sloat said. Police searched the county fairgrounds before Wandrey was captured in the neighborhood between the fairgrounds and the Santa Rosa police station on Sonoma Avenue, Fraga said.
