* Roger Gomez Arrested in Campbell for Allegedly Threatening Family With a Gun

Campbell police arrested a 37-year-old man early this morning for allegedly threatening his family with a firearm. Officers responded to a disturbance call at a home on Carlyn Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. and learned that the suspect, 37-year-old Roger Gomez, had threatened his family at gunpoint, police said. When the officers arrived Gomez dropped the firearm and ran from the home, according to police. Santa Clara County sheriff’s deputies and officers from the San Jose Police Department aided in the search for Gomez. He was subsequently apprehended and booked into Santa Clara County jail on assault charges, police said. No family members were injured in the incident.
