* Clint Mistler and Belinda Mistler Arrested In Dixon For Allegedly Strangling and Assaulting Victim with Pipe

A man and woman were arrested in Dixon Thursday for allegedly strangling and assaulting a victim with a lead pipe, according to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office. At about 7:50 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to an assault in the 7200 block of Tremont Road, according to the department. The victim said a suspect had hit him repeatedly with a lead pipe and strangled him. He identified 42-year-old Clint Mistler of Dixon as his attacker. The victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for his
injuries.Later that evening, the Dixon Police Department found a possible suspect vehicle in the parking lot of the Comfort Suites Inn. They found Mistler in a hotel room nearby. He was arrested for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and possession of methamphetamine. Dixon resident Belinda Mistler, 40, was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine and being an accessory to the assault. Both suspects were booked into the Solano County jail.
