A 53-year-old Belmont man was arrested earlier this week after he allegedly broke into a business trailer and was found dismantling computer equipment, according to San Carlos police.Thomas Barber was arrested after an officer was flagged down shortly after 11:30 p.m.Tuesday by an employee at Airgas Dry Ice, located at 961 Bing St., police said.The employee said a suspect was inside a trailer to the rear of the business. The officer found Barber inside the trailer dismantling computer equipment and in possession of burglary tools. He was arrested without incident, according to police.Investigators also determined Barber had allegedly entered two additional trailers with the intent to steal property inside. Barber, who was already on probation for theft-related arrests, was booked into San Mateo County jail on suspicion of commercial burglary, three counts of attempted theft, three counts of tampering with a vehicle, and probation violation, police said.
