* Vallejo Police Need To Identify Second Suspect in Murder Near The Parkway Liquor Store

Vallejo police Wednesday announced a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the second suspect in the murder of Marico Whitemon at the Parkway Liquor store on Feb. 6. Solano County Crime Stoppers is offering the reward. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Jason Wentz or Detective Les Bottomley at 1-(800) 488-9383. Police have arrested 23-year-old Ross Gabriel Ellis of Vallejo for the slaying. Ellis was caught after a traffic stop in western Pennsylvania on Friday. His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday in Solano County Superior Court. The second suspect is either white or Hispanic and possibly in his early 20s, police said. He is 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches, 150-170 pounds and has dark hair.
