The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion robbery in unincorporated Santa Rosa this morning in which two people were injured, a sheriff’s lieutenant said. The robbery was reported at about 6 a.m. at a home in the 1300
block of Vineyard Court, sheriff’s Lt. Scott Dunn said. Two armed suspects wearing masks broke into the home, and two
residents were injured as they defended themselves, Dunn said. He did not know the extent of the victims’ injuries. A neighbor who heard the commotion called 911 and intervened, prompting the two suspects to flee. No arrests have been made in the case.
