* Gene Jorgensen Arrested In Vacaville For Stealing Boat Motors

Vacaville police have arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of stealing boat motors from the Nut Tree Storage facility.Gene Jorgensen, of Vacaville, is suspected of stealing the motors from the facility at 2049 East Monte Vista Ave. around 2 a.m. Saturday, police said.Jorgensen allegedly left the storage facility in a black Pontiac Grand Am, police said. Police followed the car and stopped it on Dover Street in Fairfield. Jorgensen was in possession of three boat motors, police said.Vacaville police said they found an 8-square foot section cut out of the chain link fence at the storage facility and found a boat with its outboard motor missing.The boat owner was contacted and identified one of the three boat motors found in Jorgensen’s car as his, police said.Jorgensen was booked into the Solano County jail for grand theft,possession of stolen property, trespassing and vandalism, police said.
