Vacaville police have identified the victim of a homicide Friday evening as 17-year-old Humberto Padilla.The Vacaville teenager suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at VacaValley Hospital, Sgt. Jeff King said.A 15-year-old boy who also suffered gunshot wounds is recovering at a hospital and is expected to survive, King said.The murder and attempted murder are considered gang-related, King said. Police arrested three suspects, Rudolfo Ortega, 21, Adrian Torres, 20, and Jesus Vidrio, 21, all of Fairfield, after their Chevrolet Impala crashed on Dickson Hill Road near Mustang Circle in Fairfield during a police pursuit. Ortega, Vidrio, and Torres were booked into the Solano County jail for murder, attempted murder and conspiracy. Vidrio was also booked for evading police and Torres and Ortega were also booked for shooting into an inhabited dwelling. They are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in Solano County Superior Court.Police responded at 6:50 p.m. Friday to reports of the shooting at the Vacaville Gable Apartments in the 100 block of Meadows Drive.Callers said a group of young men fired into a group of people and fled in a light-colored Chevrolet Impala.King said the bullets entered four occupied two-story townhouse apartments but no one inside was injured. The shooting victims were foun outside on the sidewalk.The teen victims lived near the apartment complex, King said.
