Three San Jose men were arrested Friday after a Santa Clara County sheriff’s deputy interrupted the burglary of a home in Saratoga.At about noon Friday, someone on Rodoni Court reported a green Honda vehicle occupied by three men who were parked in front of a vacant home on the street, according to the sheriff’s office.
The witness said that the suspects then rang the doorbell, waited for a short while, and then went into the backyard of the home when no one answered the door, according to the sheriff’s office.A deputy arrived near the home and saw the suspects by a side gate. As the deputy tried to contact the suspects, they ran back toward the rear of the residence.
The deputy saw a purse, a flat screen television, and two laptop computers scattered in the backyard of the property, according to the sheriff’s office.The deputy was able to arrest one of the suspects, while the other two jumped a fence and ran into a neighbor’s backyard. The two men were eventually arrested by other deputies near the intersection of Homes Drives and Cox Avenue, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victims’ MP3 player and watches were found in the pockets of the suspects.Andy Sim, 19, Jason Sagun, 18, and Oliver Juinio, 20, all of San Jose, were arrested on suspicion of burglary. Juinio was also arrested for probation violation, according to the sheriff’s office.
