* Juvenile Arrested By Salinas Police For Allegedly Being Gang Member in Possession of Gun

Salinas police arrested a juvenile Saturday night for allegedly being a gang member in possession of a firearm. Officers conducted a probation search at the home of a known juvenile gang member at about 9:20 p.m., police said. At the home, the officers found a .380-caliber Kel-Tec semi-automatic gun with obliterated serial numbers, according to police. The juvenile was taken into custody and booked into juvenile hall.
