Police in San Ramon arrested a woman early Wednesday morning on charges of identity theft and possession of stolen property. Officers attempted to stop a speeding vehicle near Country Brook Loop at around 12:15 a.m., according to San Ramon police. The vehicle slowed but didn’t stop. The driver of the vehicle, 25-year-old Tiffany Johnson, drove into an apartment complex where she tried to flee on foot. Johnson was quickly caught and arrested for failing to yield and an outstanding arrest warrant from San Mateo County. A search of her vehicle yielded fraudulent driver’s licenses, credit cards and lists of personal information from various individuals, police said. Police also found numerous articles of new merchandise in the vehicle, mainly from Victoria’s Secret. Johnson was booked into county jail for possession of stolen
property identity theft, fraudulent use of another’s account information, forgery, failure to yield and an outstanding arrest warrant.
