A Santa Rosa man pleaded not guilty today in Sonoma County Superior Court to sexually assaulting three girls under age 18 within the past year.Police arrested John David Heglin, 50, on Feb. 4 at his Yulupa Avenue home in east Santa Rosa where police found evidence of the crimes, Sgt. John Snetsinger said. Heglin filmed some of the sexual assaults over the last year, according to police.Additionally, he allegedly provided at least one victim with drugs and alcohol as part of an assault, Santa Rosa police said.Heglin is charged with raping an intoxicated person, oral copulation of a person under age 18, two counts of raping a victim under age 18, possession or manufacture or possession of child pornography involving someone under age 18 and furnishing a methamphetamine to a minor. Heglin is being held in the Sonoma County jail under $500,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 26 for a settlement of the case or setting of a preliminary hearing.
