* San Jose Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing on Berryessa Road

A man was stabbed to death in San Jose early this morning, a police spokesman said. Officers went to the 2500 block of Berryessa Road at around 1:10 a.m. to investigate reports of a fight at a restaurant, San Jose police spokesman Jermaine Thomas said. Police found a man who had been stabbed, Thomas said. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. A preliminary investigation revealed that a fight inside the restaurant led to the stabbing. No suspects have been arrested.
