A popular Rohnert Park custom guitar craftsman killed last week had been stabbed multiple times in his head, neck, chest and hand, the Sonoma County coroner’s office said this afternoon.The final results of today’s autopsy on Taku Sakashta are pending further investigation and toxicology reports, coroner’s Sgt. Clint Shubel said. Police said the 43-year-old guitar maker’s last name is “Sakashita” on his California driver’s license, but on his Web site, his name is spelled “Sakashta.” Rohnert Park police found Sakashta’s body around 4 a.m. Friday in bushes outside his business at 643 Martin Ave. in Rohnert Park after his wife told police he did not return home that night.The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety arrested 28-year-old Joshua Rhea Begley, 28, of Rohnert Park for the murder at an apartment at 905 Civic Center Drive around 1 a.m. Monday after a vehicle and foot chase.He was booked into the Sonoma County jail for murder, robbery evading police and an enhancement alleging the crimes were committed while Begley was out of jail on bail or his own recognizance. Begley is being held under no bail and is scheduled to be arraigned 1:30 p.m. Thursday.Begley was also arrested by Petaluma police Feb. 8 for being under the influence of a controlled substance and escaping police custody when officers tried to serve an emergency protective order against him.He escaped Petaluma police custody by unlocking his handcuffs with a key he had hidden in his mouth. He was re-arrested shortly thereafter with the help of a police dog in a landscaping materials supply yard.Rohnert Park police said Begley also has several other drug charges pending against him.
