The charges stem from the shooting death of 50-year-old Rei-Shiun Lin at his home at 1050 Quintana Way in Fremont at about 6:40 a.m. Tuesday.Lin’s wife called 911 to report that her brother, Huang, had just shot her husband and left in a white Ford pickup truck, Fremont police said.San Francisco police arrested Huang two hours later as he entered a terminal at San Francisco International Airport.Huang had already bought a plane ticket to fly to Hong Kong, according to Fremont police spokesman Detective William Veteran.Witnesses told police that Huang killed Lin over family issues, Veteran said.Huang was referred to the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office at his brief hearing today and is scheduled to return to Alameda County Superior Court in Fremont on Tuesday to finalize his legal representation and possibly enter a plea, according to prosecutor Angela Backers.A Mandarin interpreter will be present at that hearing, but Backers said Huang appears to understand English perfectly.
