* Man Robbed on His Way to Work in Meadow Homes Park in Concord

A 22-year-old Concord man was beaten and robbed early Saturday morning while he was on his way to work, Concord police Lt. Darrell Graham said today. The victim was in Meadow Homes Park near Sunshine Drive at about 4 a.m. when three men attacked him. The men punched and kicked the victim in the face and stole his wallet, iPhone and backpack, Graham said. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for facial injuries, Graham said. The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 20 and 25 years old. He was about 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighed about 175 pounds and had short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue polo shirt.The second suspect was also a Hispanic man between 20 and 25 years old. He was about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a “chunky” build and shoulder length hair that was light in color and might have been dyed blond. The third suspect was described only as a Hispanic man. The three men were driving a silver or gray older model four-door Nissan Altima or Sentra.
