* Man Shot In The Arm Leaving Super Bowl Party In Hercules On Beechnut Drive

A 24-year-old Novato man was shot in the arm Sunday afternoon as he was leaving a Super Bowl party in Hercules, Hercules police said.Police received a call reporting a shooting in the 200 block of Beechnut Drive shortly after 5:10 p.m., police said.The caller told police that the victim was being taken to the hospital in a silver sedan. Officers stopped the silver car a short distance away and called an ambulance for the victim, who had been shot in the upper arm. He is expected to survive, police said.Witnesses told police that the victim had just left the party and was standing in the street when a man in a purple Lexus shot him.The Lexus was last seen traveling north on Beechnut Drive toward Lupine Road.A motive for the shooting has not been determined and no suspects have been arrested, police said.
