Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Round Table Pizza in Fairfield Sunday evening.Officers were called to the restaurant at 2401 Waterman Blvd. at about 5:50 p.m. Witnesses told police that two men with their faces covered entered the restaurant and demanded money from the cash registers and a back office. One carried a small-caliber handgun, police said. The pair took an undisclosed amount of money and fled. During the robbery, an employee was kicked in the ribs. He was taken to NorthBay Medical Center for treatment and was later released.Police were unable to obtain consistent descriptions of the robbers.Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Fairfield police at (707) 428-7300. A reward of up to $1,000 has been offered for any information leading to an arrest.
