Two more men have been arrested in connection with at least three robberies at 7-Eleven stores in Mountain View in the past month, most recently on Saturday night, a police spokeswoman said today. Authorities apprehended Sean Thomas and Jamarea Campbell, both 19, on Sunday after already having arrested the third suspect in the robberies on Saturday, 20 year old Derreck Stamper, Mountain View police spokeswoman Liz Wylie said. Thomas, Campbell and Stamper are believed to have robbed a 7-Eleven store at about 10:45 p.m. before fleeing in a vehicle, according to Wylie. Stamper was arrested later that night after a short pursuit that ended when Stamper crashed his car in East Palo Alto, Wylie said. Officers spotted Thomas on Sunday getting into a car with several other people in Menlo Park. He was subsequently arrested at the intersection of North Shoreline Boulevard and Terra Bella Avenue in Mountain View, Wylie said. Campbell was arrested by San Mateo police after completing court-ordered community service as part of probation for a separate offense. The three men are believed to have committed at least two other similar robberies in Mountain View in January, but authorities don’t believe they are linked to several others that have taken place within the same time frame. The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office has not yet filed charges in the case.
