* Hsiu-Hoe Hsieh Of Santa Rosa Died Of Strangulation And Her Husband Wen-Hsing Hsieh Hung Himself

A Santa Rosa man strangled his wife and then hanged himself over the weekend in their Valley West Drive home, Santa Rosa police said this afternoon.The preliminary results of an autopsy today by the Sonoma County coroner’s office indicate Hsiu-Hoe Hsieh, 58, died as a result of strangulation and her 60-year-old husband Wen-Hsing Hsieh died by hanging himself, police Sgt. Steve Fraga said.The results of the murder-suicide investigation will be sent to the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office for review, Fraga said.Santa Rosa police went to the house in west Santa Rosa at 11:13 a.m. Saturday after a relative of the couple discovered their bodies, Fraga said. There are no outstanding suspects, he said.Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to call police at (707) 543-3590.
