* Woman Fights Off Attacker on Huntington Avenue in San Bruno

Police in San Bruno are searching for a man they say assaulted a woman walking in the city Thursday night. Officers responded to a report of an assault on Huntington Avenue under an Interstate Highway 380 overpass at around 10:30 p.m., according to the San Bruno Police Department. A woman told police she was walking on Huntington Avenue when she was approached by a man who tried to grab her. She kicked him and he ran away. The woman was not injured in the assault. Officers did not find the suspect, who was described as a clean-shaven man in his mid 20s, around 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds with brown eyes. He was wearing a dark knitted cap, a dark sweatshirt and dark pants. Anyone with information regarding the attack is asked to contact the San Bruno Police Department at (650) 616-7100.
