* Kevin Rogers Shot and Killed and Two Other Victims Shot in Oakland

Oakland police are investigating a triple shooting in the city Thursday night that left a 17-year-old boy dead and two other victims hospitalized, a police spokesman said. Kevin Rogers, an Oakland resident, was killed in the shooting, which was reported at about 9:50 p.m. in the 3500 block of Allendale Avenue, according to police Officer Jeff Thomason. Arriving officers found Rogers and the other two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to a local hospital where Rogers was pronounced dead. One of the other victims was listed in critical condition and the other was in stable condition this morning, according to Thomason. No arrests have been made in connection with the fatal shooting, Oakland’s fourth homicide of 2010.
