* 14 Year Old Girl Says She was Kidnapped on the Way to School in Concord

Concord police are investigating a possible kidnapping after a 14-year-old girl reported being abducted by two men Thursday morning. Walnut Creek police contacted Concord police at around 11:30 a.m. to report they had a teenage girl with them who said she had been kidnapped in Concord on her way to school. The girl told police she was walking on David Avenue to Oak Grove Intermediate School when two men in a black sport utility vehicle pulled up alongside her. One of the men allegedly got out of the vehicle and pulled her inside. The teenager said she was driven around the area and eventually dropped off in downtown Walnut Creek, where she went into a business and contacted police. The girl was not injured. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Concord police at (925) 671-3333.
