* Gilroy Shots Fired Into House On Dowdy Street

Police are trying to identify the person who shot through the front windows of a home in Gilroy early this morning.Officers responded to reports of a shooting at a home in the 7200 block of Dowdy Street at about 2:25 a.m.Witnesses told police that an unknown suspect or suspects had fired rounds through the home’s front windows and then ran away before officers arrived. Several adults and children were inside when the shots were fired, but no one was injured, police said.No suspects have been identified.Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Gilroy Police Department at (408) 846-0350
