A math teacher at Heritage High School in Brentwood has been charged for allegedly attempting to entice a female student to have sex with him, prosecutors said today. Darin Price, 38, has been charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor. The felonies include going to an arranged meeting with a minor for lewd and lascivious purposes and contacting a minor for lewd and lascivious purposes. The misdemeanor charge is for allegedly molesting or annoying a child, Contra Costa County Deputy District Attorney Jon Yamaguchi said.Price, who was arrested Friday in Brentwood, pleaded not guilty to all three charges.Brentwood police Lt. Tom Hansen said that Price had allegedly contacted the victim, a 17-year-old girl, on Thursday and tried to entice her to perform sexual acts.Police and prosecutors do not believe that the girl had any physical contact with Price.Price is scheduled to be in Contra Costa County Superior Court in Pittsburg on Feb. 4, Yamaguchi said.
