Police in Gilroy are trying to identify two suspects that robbed a gas station at gunpoint Monday night. At around 7 p.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a Union 76 service station located at 401 First St, according to Gilroy police.Officers were told that a man wearing a ski mask had entered the station with another man and pulled out a handgun. The two men demanded money from the only employee working at the time. The clerk complied and was ordered to go to a back room where he stayed for several minutes.The suspects took the money and fled.No one was injured and no shots were fired during the robbery, police said. Investigators are trying to determine if the incident was related to an armed robbery at a convenience store that took place on Saturday.Anyone with information is asked to contact Gilroy police investigations at (408) 846-0335.
