* San Anselmo Juvenile Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Mother with Kitchen Knife

A juvenile suspect was arrested in San Anselmo early this morning after allegedly threatening to cut his mother with two large kitchen knives, according to police. Shortly after 1:15 a.m., police responded to a home at 35 Sunny Hills Drive after a report of an out of control juvenile, police said. An arriving officer found the suspect holding the two knives and threatening his mother. The officer convinced the juvenile to drop the knives and took him into custody, according to police. No one was injured during the incident. The suspect was booked into Marin County juvenile hall for attempted assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
