A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing his brother Wednesday morning at a Fairfield apartment, police said. The stabbing occurred at about 6:15 a.m. during an argument that started inside the apartment, located at 320 Tabor Ave., then moved outside to a common area of the complex, Lt. Richard Leonardini said. When the victim returned to the apartment afterward, witnesses inside noticed he was bleeding and called police, Leonardini said. He was taken to NorthBay Medical Center for treatment of a wound to his arm, Leonardini said. The injury was not considered life-threatening. Police found the suspect, Chad Resendez, 35, of American Canyon, in the 1900 block of North Texas Street. He was arrested and booked into Solano County jail for assault with a deadly weapon and a probation violation.
