* Gregory Rossignon Arraigned on Charges of Alleged Murder of Demariay Weathers

A man charged with the murder of 18-year-old Demariay Weathers in Antioch in October is scheduled to be arraigned in Contra Costa County Superior Court in Martinez this afternoon. Gregory Rossignon, a 24-year-old Antioch resident, was arrested at a home in Pittsburg on Oct. 30. He was held in county jail on a probation violation until the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office charged him with murder last Thursday, police said. Weathers was found shot to death shortly before 4 a.m. on Oct. 23 in the 2300 block of Spanos Street, police said. He had been shot once in the face and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rossignon is scheduled to be arraigned at the courthouse in Martinez at 1:30 p.m.
