Twin Cities police are opening temporary headquarters in Corte Madera starting Tuesday while construction begins on a new permanent facility in Larkspur. The temporary headquarters, located at 5725 Paradise Drive, Building E, Suite 900, will house all police operations for up to two years, according to police. Construction on the new permanent facility, located at 250 Doherty
Drive in Larkspur, will begin in mid-February and includes the demolition of the 36-year-old building that was the former home for Twin Cities police. Construction is scheduled to be completed in December 2011, with final move-ins anticipated by June 2012.
