16 drug cartel gang members and 2 Mexican soldiers were killed in a shootout in the resort city of Acapulco lasting more than 4 hours. The battle began when Army and federal police officers received a tip where police officers were being held hostage. Gang members assaulted the army and federal police officers with automatic weapons and hand grenades. Five gang members were arrested. 49 assault rifles, 2 grenade launchers, 13 hand grenades, 3,000 rounds of ammunition and 8 vehicles were seized. WARNING THIS VIDEO CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES.
