* San Anselmo Police Arrest Bonnie Hamilton and Tamasha Wright for Allegedly Trying to Steal TV From CVS Store

Two women were arrested Thursday morning for allegedly trying to steal a TV from a CVS/pharmacy in San Anselmo, according to police. Bonnie Hamilton, 30, and Tamasha Wright, 39, both of Richmond, were arrested for burglary and other charges, police said. At 9:45 a.m., a caller told police that a woman had just left the CVS/pharmacy at 880 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. with a stolen TV, according to police. An employee followed the woman and updated San Anselmo police on her location. Officers found her by the tennis courts on Sunnyhills Drive, and after a short foot pursuit she was arrested in the Redhill Shopping Center. The woman was identified as Hamilton, according to police. Later, a second female – identified as Wright – was found to have been involved in the burglary, police said. Officers also found narcotic paraphernalia and stolen checks and credit cards in her possession.Wright was already on parole for forging checks, according to police. The women were booked in Marin County Jail. Hamilton faces charges of burglary and obstructing a public officer, while Wright was booked on burglary, receiving stolen property and giving false information to a police officer.
