A 66-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with a fatal October crash in Morgan Hill, police announced Monday.The crash happened at about 5 p.m. Oct. 23 at the intersection of Monterey Road and Edmundson Avenue. Police said at the time it appeared Rory Tomasello, a 22-year-old Morgan Hill man, was riding a bicycle north through the crosswalk. A vehicle heading west on Edmundson stopped to allow him to cross, but another vehicle, a Cadillac, proceeded through the crosswalk and Tomasello collided with it, police said.Tomasello, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to San Jose Regional Hospital and died Nov. 2, police said.The driver of the Cadillac, Sandra Arlia of Morgan Hill, stopped at the scene of crash and no one was initially cited.However, on Dec. 28 a $7,000 misdemeanor warrant for manslaughter was issued for Arlia’s arrest and she turned herself in to San Jose police that day. She was later released on bail.
