The Sonoma County coroner’s office today identified the woman found fatally shot inside a Petaluma home Saturday night as 36-year-old Baupha Mullennix. Police responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 1300 block of McNeil Avenue in east Petaluma at about 10 p.m. Saturday and found Mullennix fatally wounded, Sgt. Tara Salizzoni said. She was pronounced dead at 10:22 p.m. The suspect in her murder, Kenneth Mullennix, 49, was arrested at the scene and is being held without bail. He will be arraigned in Sonoma County Superior Court Tuesday afternoon. Police have not disclosed the relationship between the suspect and the victim.
