* Fairfield Home Invasion Robbery On Oregon Street

Fairfield police are investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred at a home in the city this evening.The robbery occurred shortly before 7:45 p.m. at a home in the 800 block of Oregon Street, police said. Two male victims were in the garage of the home when a woman began banging on the garage door, according to police.One of the victims opened the garage door, and two men rushed into the garage, one of whom punched a victim and stole his wallet, police said.The other man punched the second victim while fleeing from the garage. Nothing was stolen from the second victim, according to police.The suspects fled the scene in a light blue Chrysler PT Cruiser that was being driven by the woman who had knocked on the garage door, police said.The two male suspects are described as black men who were wearing dark hooded jackets. The female suspect was described as a white woman between 25 and 30 years old who was about 5 feet 11 inches tall, and is heavyset with long brown hair, according to police.Both victims suffered minor injuries to their faces during the robbery.Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Fairfield police at (707) 428-7300.
