A young man was stabbed multiple times late Tuesday night in Salinas, according to police.The victim was standing in the 100 block of East San Luis Street at about 4:15 a.m. when several occupants of a passing vehicle yelled profanities at him, police said.Shortly after the vehicle went by him, a man in his early 20s charged at the victim.Police said the victim was stabbed several times in his upper torso and that the suspect then ran off and fled in the suspect vehicle, a dark four-door compact car.The victim was taken to the hospital and his injuries are not life-threatening. The suspect is described as a bald Hispanic man with a goatee, about 6 feet tall with a stocky build.Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call
