* Frank Deaugustino Arrested for Alleged Theft From Super Max Discount Foods in Castroville

A 23-year-old handy man was arrested Friday after he allegedly stole liquor from a grocery store in Castroville, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. Watsonville resident Frank Deaugustino entered the Super Max Discount Foods store at 11288 Merritt St. in unincorporated Monterey County and stole Southern Comfort, sheriff’s officials said. Deaugustino, who allegedly had the alcohol with him when he was caught, was then arrested.
