Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near an elementary school in East Oakland Sunday night. At about 11:05 p.m., one victim was shot in the 1500 block of 33rd Avenue, according to the Oakland Police Department’s patrol division. The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. The shooting appears to have occurred near St. Elizabeth
Elementary School, which is located at 1516 33rd Ave. in Oakland. No suspects have been arrested for the shooting, police said. Additional details about the incident were not immediately available.
