A gunman entered a San Rafael bank Friday afternoon, forced everyone to the ground and made off with several bags of cash, police said. The suspect went into the Bank of Marin at 4460 Redwood Highway at about 12:25 p.m. After he ordered everyone to the ground, he demanded the bank tellers fill several bags with cash, according to police. He then fled in a white van, possibly a Chrysler. Police describe the suspect as a white or light-skinned Hispanic man, about 5 feet 8 inches and 190 pounds. He was wearing a gray and black hooded jacket and a knit cap covering most of his face.
