* Possible Child Annoying Near Ida Price School Middle and Galarza Elementary School

On Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at approximately 8:15 AM, San Jose Police officers responded to a Suspicious Circumstance call that occurred in front of Ida Price Middle School, located at 2650 New Jersey Avenue in San Jose.  An 11 year-old boy was approached by a blond female adult, driving a red sport utility vehicle. The adult female attempted to lure the juvenile into her vehicle but he refused. She then drove away. The suspect was described as a White female adult with long blond hair (mid-back), pony tail, wearing Black rimmed glasses. She was described as chubby or heavy set. On Friday, December 11, 2009, at approximately 12:40 PM, San Jose Police officers responded to another Suspicious Circumstance call that took place in front of Galarza Elementary School, located at 1610 Bird Ave. A 3 year-old boy was approached by a White female adult, who was on foot.  The child’s mother saw the female suspect talking to her son and the mother called out the son’s name. The female fled in a Tan colored sedan. The suspect was described as a White female adult, in her mid to late 30’s, with blond, long, wavy hair (mid-back).  The female suspect was approximately 5’10 to 6’0, weighing 140 to 150 pounds and wearing a Tan colored rain coat. These schools are approximately 3 miles apart. It has not been confirmed that these cases are related at this time.
