Police have arrested a woman in connection with the stabbing death of 46-year-old Garry Crowder in his home in Richmond last week, Richmond police Sgt. Bisa French said today.Renee Glover, 51, turned herself in to police Friday night and is being held at the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of murder, French said. Her bail has been set at $1 million, a county jail official said. French said Glover was a friend of Crowder’s and that she made a statement to police after turning herself in, but that police are not releasing information today about what she said to them or why she allegedly stabbed Crowder.Police found Crowder in his home in the 1700 block of Virginia Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. He had been stabbed once in the upper torso, police said.
