Two juveniles were arrested Saturday night for burglary and vandalism after they broke into a Fairfield middle school, stole property and damaged classrooms, police said. At 8:48 p.m., officers responded to an alarm that had been triggered inside Grange Middle School, at 1975 Blossom Ave., police said. Upon arrival, police saw one of the juveniles inside a classroom and began establishing a perimeter around the building, police said. The two youth tried to run from the school, but one stopped when ordered to by a police officer. The second kept running into an adjacent field and had to be located with a K9 search unit, police said.Police found several rooms at the school had been broken into and at least one laptop computer was stolen and recovered. Damage was done to multiple rooms, police said. The two suspects were booked into Juvenile Hall for burglary, vandalism, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy, police said.
