* Pinole Police Investigating Arson Fires on Bantry Road

Police are investigating what appears to be a vehicle arson that occurred early this morning in Pinole. At 3:48 a.m., a car fire was reported in the 500 block of Bantry Road, police said. Upon arrival, officers found a red Honda Civic on fire in a residential driveway. The Pinole Fire Department extinguished the blaze. Pinole police are investigating the cause of the fire with arson investigators from Contra Costa County Cal Fire, police said.
