On Monday, December 7, 2009, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with all other Santa Clara County law enforcement agencies, is implementing a special month-long program in which individuals with NON-VIOLENT MISDEMEANOR CRIMINAL and TRAFFIC WARRANTS can receive a citation with a new court date, in lieu of being booked into the County Jail. “Operation Second Chance 2009” will begin on December 7th and run through December 31st.  Individuals can go to any Santa Clara County law enforcement agency to receive their warrant citation, which will require a new “Promise to Appear” in court date. “Operation Second Chance 2009” is directed towards all misdemeanor warrants, no matter what the bail is, including those warrants stamped “No Cite and Release,” “No Walk-Over,” and “Post and Forfeit.” The following warrants DO NOT qualify for this program:  felony warrants and ANY warrant involving violence. However, subjects with these types of warrants should take this opportunity to turn themselves in so they can have their day in court. This program has been tremendously successful over the past four years. More than 1400 people have taken advantage of the program and avoided spending the holidays in jail by self-surrendering. Last year alone, a total of 553 individuals took advantage of the program and turned themselves in on outstanding misdemeanor warrants. They were issued citations with a new court date released “on the spot”. The program remains “countywide” with all law enforcement agencies participating. Individuals with outstanding misdemeanor warrants can go to their local police and Sheriff’s stations and surrender themselves on the outstanding warrants and be released instead of going to jail. If you have any questions relating to this program, please contact Sheriff’s Office Records at (408) 808-4717. The following law enforcement agencies are available to accept self-surrenders at the place, time and days listed below: 1.  Sheriff’s Office Headquarters 24 hours a day – 7 days a week 55 W. • I was never so suprised to see that our boys in blue and brown were doing a wonderful thing as this.

I do honestly respect the amazingly scary job that they do. I have personally 2 uncles Leon Threets and Alvin Don Threets which are Sheriff’s Leon in San Quentin and A.D. a decorated Colma/Daly City Sheriff, and a Baby Brother Arnold Levert Threets, who is a Srgt. with the Richmond Police Depart and my mother Mrs. William Threets who worked many years with SJPD in School Safety Division, and are friends with Scott Casturita high school pal and friends still with the family and also a shout out to George Zavalas a retired Sheriff in whom I respect and love a great deal.

My comment I have inquired about an alleged assault that was I was not made aware of until 2008. I have made some of the hugest mistakes in my life and if I could take each of the moments back I could I would. My troubles in the past have been with Methamphetamines and by the grace of God since December 15, 2006 I have been clean and sober, but my past keeps haunting me and it;s just not my game in life anymore. I have one child, graduated college(SJSU), have completed major obstacles to get where I am, and this charge of Assault that I was never notified of in writing or anything else, is plaguing me. On 3 seperate occassions the San Jose Sheriff have harassed to intimidation and have arrested my Boyfriend of 5 years because of my past. I am not giving up on my sobriety I just pray for his to happen.

On September 20, 2009 the Sheriff’s knocked did not respond from my who is it at my front door and proceeded to walk down my driveway and hassle my boyfriend and his fiend that were sweeping the driveway after a early evening of recycling and proceeded to tell him that they were there to make 2 arrests of people with warrants, me being the one (I supposed) and the other I was clueless. I happen to be fighting bronchitus and running a fever and fell asleep during this whole ordeal and apx a hour and one half later I was awaken by our mutual friend of mine and my boyfriend’s and told that Steve was taken in for not wanting the sheriff’s to search his garage which they did and found in the corner in a drawer of his tools a meth pipe and a single .22 caliber bullet.

Now they took him down the street, paraded him in front of our neighbors and they told him and the friend that woke me up that they were here for me and instead they gave me a free pass.

Why do they keep alerting, annoying, intimidating me and furthermore harrasing me with this warrant. If I am always the supposed reason they are here at my “known Drug House” as they have deemed it. Why am I free and my boyfriend facing charges that he has not committed.

It’s not fair that I not be allowed to participate in this program because I defended myself and property against Tonya Hartley back so many years now I can’t honestly tell you what year this was. I do know that there was a call made by me asking for a civil standby and instead I am at everyturn, embarrased and afraid to leave my home for fear that I will not be home this Christmas for defending myself against a violent, cranked out witch. Is there a change in the laws that I am not aware of, or is it still innocent until proven guilty. Like I said many times already and please put this on any record you like (with all do respect) where I reside is not a drug home their are many of friends that I have including myself which do not live in the TWEAK WORLD ANYMORE!!

Someone anyone please Help I can not go on to 2010 with my father fighting for his life from a stroke and all of the 180 degree sobriety WHOO HOO that I have maintained since December 15, 2006 the last time I was incarcerated and PRAYING EVER everyday to face this ugly street in San Jose that I live on.

Please submit to Laurie Smith and the appropriate heads of Fugitive watch a duplicate of this transmission.

Thanks For All The Work You People Do!!!
